My passion for coffee started 25 years ago; as a small child I would spend many summers over in Naples with my family, each morning waking to the smell of freshly brewed espresso, courtesy of my grandmother. In my eyes, coffee = happiness and love.

As a young adult I became fascinated with the world of natural skincare, plant-based products & started to intertwine my love of coffee into homemade blends.

ORIGINALLY THIS WAS ONLY MEANT TO BE A FUN DIY STYLE PROJECT FOR MYSELF, BUT AFTER HANDING PRODUCTS OUT TO MY FRIENDS & FAMILY I RECEIVED SUCH INCREDIBLE FEEDBACK I KNEW THE SCUBS WERE SOMETHING SPECIAL..

AND SO, THE COFFEE SCRUB COMPANY WAS BORN! 

I SEE BODY POSITIVITY AS THE OPPORTUNITY TO EMBRACE AND LOVE OURSELVES FROM THE INSIDE OUT. IT'S SO MUCH MORE THAN WEIGHT, SIZE AND SKIN.. IT'S HOW WE FEEL, OUR HEALTH AND HOW WE LOOK AFTER OURSELVES - PRACTICING SELF CARE EACH DAY IN NEW LITTLE WAYS.

I have a chronic illness called EDS/hypermobility, WHICH I MAINLY MANAGE THROUGH MY LIFESTYLE.

This journey over the last few years has opened my eyes To the diverse world of body positivity, self-love and how important self-care is for mental health.

I wholeheartedly believe skincare and self-love go hand in hand, so as a brand we do not push for 'perfect skin'. We aim to inspire and empower individuals to love and embrace the skin they're in, adding a little caffeine into their weekly routine to improve the overall health and happiness of the skin.
